(HC48) Interim Deputy Director of Strategy

Superb opportunity to join this NHS Acute Trust on a 6 month contract as a Deputy Director of Strategy.

On behalf of the Director of Finance, this role will be the day-to-day lead in the production and submission of the 19/20 operating and strategic plans.  This will involve coordinating the timely completion of the key documents that feed the overall strategic plan including:
 - demand and capacity model
 - service reviews and service level business plans
 - financial plans
 - workforce plans

Ensuring the Trust plans remain congruent with those of the wider health economy, you will support the Chief Executive and Director of Finance by developing external relationships as the the Trust's planning link to STP groups and CCG joint boards ensuring that the implications of strategic transformation programmes for urgent and planned care are understood and built into the Trust's plans.

Having coordinated and delivered the 19/20 plans, you start to shape what the Trust strategy and planning should look like for the future, designing a framework for future planning cycles.

To succeed in this role, you will have expert knowledge of the NHS planning regime and be able to demonstrate how you have contributed to the practical delivery of other planning cycles.

Applicants should be available to commence the assignment in early January.

It is anticipated that this role will be fulltime and inside IR35.
