(RD2) Head of OD/HR

£49,332.00 - 53,615.00 Per Annum

A North Staffordshire based public sector organisation are appointing an experienced Head of HR and OD to lead the organisations HR and Organisational Development (OD) function and provide strategic advice on behalf of the organisation on all people management issues.

Main responsibilities
Leading the following HR & OD services within a multidisciplinary organisation, in accordance with all of the organisations policies and priorities, and ensure that they are efficient, focused, customer facing and accountable:

 HR Business Partnering
 Organisational Development
 Learning and Development
 Payroll and HR administration
 Corporate Health and Safety
 Facilities Management for the Offices
 
Promoting and embedding strong and inspirational leadership, by demonstrating the organisations values

Leading and driving change projects that improve quality and performance, while providing highly effective management of the service in the challenging circumstances presented by the need to make ongoing efficiencies.

Providing expert professional advice to enable and support the Chief Executive, Executive Directors and senior managers in all areas of HR, OD, Payroll and Learning and Development, including the application of employment law, HR policy, best practice, workforce development and organisational change.
