Staffordshire County Council has just the role for you.
They have launched a new people strategy, focused on attracting, retaining and upskilling of staff and need your expertise to review and refresh their overall Resourcing strategy over the next twelve-months.
You’ll be able to use your extensive strategic resourcing experience to work across the whole organisation, in order to develop an ambitious strategy to address hard to fill posts, succession planning and agency spend. You will be able to navigate through a large, complex environment driving ideas and delivering to stretching deadlines.
This post is particularly exciting as you’ll have opportunities to innovate and bring your fresh ideas to how the Council attracts top talent. Your experience will give you the confidence to create new methods for employer branding, and promoting the Council as an employer of choice.
You will have in-house recruitment management experience which will support your review of current practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing significant and necessary improvements to the recruitment processes used by the Council. The Council is keen to use digital platforms to aid in their recruitment, so you’ll need a thorough knowledge of the available digital tools and techniques to reduce time to hire and improve their speed to market.
Ideally, degree or CIPD qualified, you’ll may also have a recognised qualification in the delivery and interpretation of psychometric tests.
