(HC65) Senior Finance Business Partner

£52,306.00 - 60,983.00 Per Annum

How would you like to help a well-respected and much-loved local hospital achieve its goals?

As a Senior Finance Business Partner at the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, you’ll be able to play a key role in their future success.

Having undertaken a full organisational restructure this year, they now want a qualified accountant like you to take on the role of Senior Finance Business Partner.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be working with the Clinical Business Unit leaders to provide advice and analysis on where to allocate financial resources. You will need to assess the financial implications of any change in services and whether it fits within the budget. As such, you will need previous experience of working with clinical and operational managers in the NHS and have a thorough understanding of the financial procedures used.

The Trust has taken major steps with complex transformation projects this year and has ambitious plans for further improvements. As an SFBP within the Trust, you will be able to bring your knowledge of best practice from other areas of the NHS and use them extensively within the department.

Supporting the Head of Financial Management, you’ll be working on the Improvement Projects, ensuring that the financial requirements and benefits are clearly defined and reported. The Trust is keen to improve its financial reporting structures and you will play a leading role in ensuring the information provided to the Board is correct and on-time.

The local population relies heavily on the George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
