Harris Burns are working with a local Public Sector body that are requiring an creative Interim Town Deal Project Manager for a 12 month period.

Main Purpose of Job:
To project manage development of the Town Deal Boards and Town Investment Plans for the two Town Centres, guiding the Town Deal Boards through the process of designing a clear and effective Town Investment Plan and the process of developing as a Board entity.
Familiarise with the Town Deal process, deadlines and requirements to ensure that all actions undertaken are in line with the guidance issued
Support development of the baseline documents to facilitate development of the Board priority investment areas and the public consultation on the Town Deals.
Coordinate the Development of the Town Deal boards through the development stages of agreeing terms of reference, standards of behaviour, decision making processes meeting schedules and reporting mechanisms.
Coordinate any sub groups required by the Town Deal Boards to ensure these are delivered in a timely and efficient way to deliver the required outputs.
In cooperation with the Regeneration Manager and Town Deal Board Chairs manage and monitor the Capacity Fund budgets for the two areas.
Produce and update a project plan / action plan for development of the Town Investment Plans.
Act as co-author of the two Town Investment Plans in cooperation with other members of the Regeneration Team.
Coordinate and contribute to community consultation as part of the Town Deal process, working with other officers of the Council and any contracted or partner organisations to deliver this.
Comply with any reporting requirements on the development of Town Deals, both locally to the Council or other partners and also to Government where required.
Develop relationships with key Government officials to maximise the benefit of relationships and gain guidance where required.
Establish the mechanism to publicly reporting progress and publish Board papers.
Work with Council colleagues to develop relationships with potential co-funders of projects within the Town Deal Investment Plans, developing project specifications for inclusion in the Town Investment Plans.
Provide support to the Town Boards post submission of the Town Investment Plans to deliver interim actions, develop projects and ensure that momentum is continued whilst the outcome of the Town Investment Board submissions is awaited.
