An overview of our service delivery from a recent appointment
We have been delighted to support NHS Kettering General Hospital with their recruitment of a new Head of Financial Management. Shofiqur Rahman started at the beginning of September and we are confident that it will develop into being a very successful move for him and a great appointment for our client.
Despite being an expert recruiter into the NHS nationally, Westwood Harris Burns had not previously worked with Kettering General Hospitals until this appointment. After engaging closely with Bhavisha Patel (Acting Deputy Director of Finance- NHS Kettering), we were very keen to take on the huge responsibility of finding the best candidate to lead the finance department. Through our in-depth conversations, we were very clear on the need to source a candidate with NHS background, excellent leadership and development skills.
It was not difficult to locate candidates who were engaged with the prospect of working at NHS Kettering in our network. Shofiqur Rahman is an individual we could not hold in any higher regard. He was an obvious contender for the opportunity because of his strong talent in finance and his personality. His most recent role gave him all the technical skills he will need for the position coupled with exemplary leadership skills, providing the perfect blend.
